“Step into the vibrant tapestry of Jamaican life through Parish Walls, a captivating photographic project initiated in 2018 by the talented Nathaniel Bailey. With his ancestral roots deeply embedded in Jamaica, Bailey skilfully captures the essence of people in their natural habitat across various parishes. The original intent of this project was to unveil hidden facets of Jamaica, yet it evolved into a personal exploration for him, fostering a deeper connection to the island of his family's origin and influencing his identity as a young black man in Great Britain. This exhibition marks the first public unveiling of Bailey’s extraordinary series, inviting you to immerse yourself in the rich cultural mosaic of Jamaica. Join us in celebrating the unveiling of Parish Walls, and experience the soulful narratives woven into each compelling photograph”.
