‘Imprints’ defined: to fix an event or experience so firmly in the memory that it cannot be forgotten although you try not to remember it.

Imprints is a collection of audio and visual work which explores memories and mark-making. Jessica, Sarah and Thomas will each present their interpretation of Imprints through their own art forms. Each artist takes on the theme independently resulting in three different and personal responses, shaped by recent or past events.

The work includes a set of photo etchings of the Dorset landscape; a timeline journeying the relationship between hair loss, mood and self and an audio portrait that imagines the soundscape of the ortolan’s cruel fate.
